I'm Erin, and I've been helping medical professionals have difficult conversations for 20 years.

I’ve worked with everyone from first-year medical students to physician chiefs.

The same tools I have learned - and taught - can help you in your work as an end-of-life doula.

I work with you to find out EXACTLY what challenges you are experiencing, and I provide tools and tips for how to overcome them.

Working with me and my 20 years’ of communication skills coaching is one thing.

But for this program, we don’t stop there.

We also incorporate a professional role-player so that you can practice
the EXACT situations that challenge you, in a safe and low-stakes environment.


Role playing may be something you’ve done before,

Our professional role players:

  • Have decades’ of experience in improvisation

  • Can instantly portray the gender, affect, personality, and responses of whoever you want to practice communicating with (the dying person, family members, etc.)

  • Provide valuable, unbiased, and immediate insight from the other person’s perspective
